Cryotherapy - Removal of Skin Lesions

Cryotherapy is a highly effective and safe medical treatment that uses extreme cold temperatures, to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions, which can be found anywhere on the face and body.

Tissues and cells are destroyed by precisely applying liquidised nitrous oxide to the lesion. The fluid within the cells are then freezed, which destroys the cells membranes. This then allows healthy skin to grow in its place.

Cryotherapy is a quick treatment, however, the duration of time required is dependent on the surface area and the depth of the lesion. No anaesthetic is required and leaves minimal scarring. Patients are able to get back to their work/daily activities (as long as the area is protected from damage or abrasion) straight after treatment.
